Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 3 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Travel Path Consultancy. By accepting a proposal, instruction, assignment or agreement from Travel Path Consultancy, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1. About Travel Path Consultancy
Travel Path Consultancy is a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands.
Travel Path Consultancy
Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 76770516
The Netherlands
Email: info@travelpathconsultancy.com
Travel Path Consultancy provides independent consultancy and related services, primarily for businesses in the camping, glamping, holiday park and outdoor hospitality industry.
2. Scope of services
The exact scope of an assignment will be agreed between Travel Path Consultancy and the client, for example in a proposal, quotation, email or other written agreement.
Services may include advice relating to strategy, sales, distribution, digitalisation, technology, automation, artificial intelligence, guest experience, business development and other relevant business topics.
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, Travel Path Consultancy acts as an adviser and does not take over the client’s day-to-day management, operations, reception, reservations, financial administration or other operational responsibilities.
3. Proposals and agreements
Proposals and quotations are non-binding unless explicitly stated otherwise.
An agreement is established when the client accepts a proposal or quotation, confirms an assignment in writing, or when Travel Path Consultancy begins performing the agreed work at the client’s request.
Changes to the scope of an assignment may affect the price, planning or delivery.
Additional work outside the agreed scope may be charged separately after consultation with the client.
4. Client responsibilities
The client remains responsible for all decisions concerning its own business.
The client is responsible for:
- providing accurate, complete and timely information;
- checking whether advice is suitable for its particular business and circumstances;
- making final commercial and operational decisions;
- complying with applicable laws, regulations, licences and contractual obligations;
- providing necessary access, information or cooperation required to perform the assignment.
Travel Path Consultancy may rely on information provided by the client unless there is a clear reason to believe that the information is incorrect.
5. Advice and results
Travel Path Consultancy aims to provide practical and professional advice based on available information, experience and industry knowledge.
However, business results depend on many factors outside the control of Travel Path Consultancy.
Therefore, no guarantee is given regarding specific results, including but not limited to:
- increased revenue or profit;
- increased reservations or occupancy;
- cost savings;
- improved reviews or guest satisfaction;
- search engine rankings;
- performance of software or technology;
- performance of third-party suppliers or partners.
Advice, forecasts, estimates, opportunities and recommendations should not be interpreted as guaranteed outcomes.
6. Third-party providers and introductions
Travel Path Consultancy may recommend, introduce or connect clients with external suppliers, technology providers, booking systems, software companies, agencies, platforms, specialists or other third parties.
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, any agreement for products or services provided by such a third party is concluded directly between the client and that third party.
Travel Path Consultancy is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, performance, pricing, terms, security, service levels or continued operation of independent third parties.
The client remains responsible for evaluating and accepting the terms of any third-party provider.
7. Technology, digitalisation and AI
Advice may include recommendations concerning software, digital tools, automation or artificial intelligence.
Technology can change quickly and may depend on third-party systems, integrations, data, availability and technical requirements.
The client remains responsible for assessing whether a technology solution is appropriate for its business and for reviewing important automated or AI-generated outputs before relying on them.
Travel Path Consultancy does not guarantee that software, integrations, AI tools or other technology will be continuously available, error-free, secure or suitable for every purpose.
8. Fees and payment
Fees are agreed with the client before or during an assignment.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices must be paid within the payment term stated on the invoice.
The client may not suspend or offset payment unless required by mandatory law.
If an invoice is not paid on time, Travel Path Consultancy may suspend further work after notifying the client and may charge applicable statutory interest and reasonable collection costs in accordance with applicable law.
9. Cancellation and changes
If the client cancels or postpones an agreed assignment, meeting, visit or other work, Travel Path Consultancy may charge for work already performed and reasonable costs already incurred.
Where substantial time has specifically been reserved for an assignment, reasonable cancellation costs may apply if this has been agreed with the client in advance.
Travel Path Consultancy will inform the client where possible if circumstances require an agreed appointment or delivery date to be changed.
10. Delivery and timelines
Any stated planning, delivery date or timeframe is an estimate unless explicitly agreed in writing as a strict deadline.
Travel Path Consultancy will make reasonable efforts to perform assignments within the agreed timeframe but is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control or by delayed information or cooperation from the client.
11. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all intellectual property rights in methods, concepts, frameworks, templates, presentations, documents, analyses, materials and other original work created by Travel Path Consultancy remain with Travel Path Consultancy.
After full payment, the client may use deliverables created specifically for the client for its own internal business purposes.
The client may not resell, publish, reproduce, commercially exploit or distribute such materials to third parties without prior written permission, unless this use was explicitly included in the agreement.
The client retains ownership of materials and information supplied by the client.
12. Confidentiality
Travel Path Consultancy will treat confidential business information received from the client with reasonable care and will not intentionally disclose it to third parties except where:
- this is necessary to perform the agreed services;
- the client has given permission;
- disclosure is required by law; or
- the information is already lawfully public.
The client must also respect confidential information and proprietary materials belonging to Travel Path Consultancy.
13. Liability
Travel Path Consultancy will perform its services with reasonable care and professional attention.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Travel Path Consultancy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of reservations, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, reputational damage or business interruption.
Where Travel Path Consultancy is legally liable for direct damages, liability will, to the extent permitted by applicable law, be limited to the amount paid by the client to Travel Path Consultancy for the specific assignment giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under mandatory applicable law.
14. Force majeure
Travel Path Consultancy is not responsible for failure or delay in performing an obligation where this results from circumstances reasonably beyond its control.
Such circumstances may include serious illness, internet or infrastructure failures, outages of third-party systems, cyber incidents, government measures, natural disasters, strikes, travel disruption or other unforeseen events.
Where possible, Travel Path Consultancy will inform the client and seek a reasonable solution.
15. Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing agreement in accordance with any arrangements made for that assignment.
Travel Path Consultancy may suspend or terminate an assignment where the client materially breaches the agreement, fails to pay an overdue invoice after notice, fails to provide necessary cooperation, or where continuation cannot reasonably be expected.
Work performed and reasonable costs incurred up to the effective date of termination remain payable.
16. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Travel Path Consultancy Privacy Policy.
17. Changes to these Terms
Travel Path Consultancy may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version applicable to an assignment is generally the version provided to or made available to the client when the relevant agreement is entered into, unless otherwise required by law or agreed between the parties.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms & Conditions and agreements with Travel Path Consultancy are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through reasonable consultation.
If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, subject to applicable mandatory jurisdiction rules.
